Juan Riva de Aldama is an experienced technology and digital-transformation executive who brings a broad base of operational, analytical, and strategic expertise to bd-capital’s Operators Club.

Juan is the Founder and CEO of the Immune Technology Institute and President of Asottech, where he has played a central role in shaping collaboration between technology talent and industry. He has also led MPC, a digital consultancy focused on strategy, creativity and data science, and has co-founded innovation-driven ventures including Protein Capital Partners, Spain’s first regulated crypto hedge fund.

Across his career, Juan has held senior leadership roles in technology, media, and data-driven businesses, including positions within Antena 3, Telefónica, and earlier in investment banking at Credit Suisse and Bankers Trust. Juan has worked closely with bd-capital for several years. He is a Non-Executive Board Director at Netex Learning, a digital education company.

Beyond his corporate work, Juan founded the Nantik Lum Foundation, focused on widening access to entrepreneurship through microfinance and training for under-represented groups.

Juan holds a degree in Business Administration from EBS and has completed executive programmes at Stanford and Harvard. He is based in Madrid with his spouse and 3 children.
