Andy Dawson is a Managing Partner and co-Founder of bd-capital.

Andy sits on the Boards of Ascenti, Sportscape and TLC Worldwide, and previously served on the Board of Symprove, bd-capital’s first realisation.

Andy is a former Managing Director and Partner of Advent International.  He joined Advent in 2004.  During his time at Advent, Andy led, co-led or participated in seven investments including Poundland, Fat Face, Lululemon, DFS and Williams Lea Tag.

Prior to Advent, Andy worked for OC&C Strategy Consultants in London, where he worked with a large number of corporate and private equity clients covering the retail, consumer goods, media, leisure and technology sectors.

Andy holds an Engineering Degree from the University of Cambridge.
